CCISD Board of Trustees’ Election Day Result Charles Pond, a Friendswood resident, won the At-Large Position A of the Clear Creek Independent School Board of Trustees.
H1N1 (Swine) Flu Update As a precaution and consistent with the University Interscholastic League (UIL) decision to suspend UIL activities due to H1N1 Flu (Swine Flu) concerns, Clear Creek Independent School District is also postponing all school-sponsored activities that take children outside of the Houston area until May 11, 2009.
Summer School Information This year's Summer School sessions (for those entering grades 9 -12) will be held at Clear Creek High School. There are two sessions, June 15 - July 2 and July 6 - 23. Payment is by cashier's check or money order only and is made payable to CCISD Summer School (no personal checks or cash accepted). Pre-registration is during the entire month of April, 2009 at all intermediate and high school campuses. Registration is on Saturday, May 30 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM and Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Clear Creek High School (both days). Read more...

Project Graduation Project Graduation is a group of parents (primarily parents of seniors) that set up a "Bon Voyage" celebration the night of graduation to give graduating seniors a safe place to visit with all their friends. Read more...
Clear Creek Education Foundation Offers Press Box Seats for Graduation Attention parents of graduating CCISD seniors: Watch Your 2009 Graduate in the Air-conditioned Comfort of the Veteran's Memorial Stadium Press Box. This package includes 12 Box seats and light appetizers at each of the CCISD High School graduations. Please specify which high school graduation you are bidding on. Bids will be taken until Friday, May 15, 2009 at 5:00 PM. Each day, we will update the current high bids for each school on this website. Winners will be notified on Monday, May 18, 2009. Need Input on Parent Education Topics The PTSA would like to have input for parent education topics for the upcoming year. Information could come to you in the form of articles in this newsletter or from speakers at a program. Please give us your opinion by completing the Interest Survey Form. You may fill it out and email it to Tammy Barrier, PTSA 1st VP Programs, at cmbarrier@aol.com. If you prefer, just send me an email listing any topics you’re interested in. Another option is to print the survey form, fill it out, put it in an envelope marked PTSA, and drop it off at the main office at the main building or ninth grade building. If you have a preference for the day or time of day programs are offered, please let me know that as well. Thank you!
Incoming Freshman Parent Coffee, The CLHS PTSA will host the annual event on Thursday, May 28th—9:00 AM, CLHS NGC Library. Principals, counselors and school nurses speak at this event to help put the parents' minds at ease. The CLHS PTSA also talks to the crowd and provides sign-up sheets for volunteer opportunities and a tour of the campus (both locations). Read more...
